About The Project
True North Outdoor has partnered with Ford for more than 20 years to manage the snow and landscape for their Kansas City Assembly Plant. This automotive plant manufactures the F150 as well as the Ford transit van. It is currently the largest assembly plant in the world. When it came time to beautify their front entrance we created a design that would look amazing for years to come. A couple years after the installation the landscape still looks great.
Having a variety of materials installed that were low maintenance and low cost in terms of water needs was critical. Our design team put together a plan that has stood the hardest test there is – the test of time. Ford has been happy with the sustainability and longevity of the design and we’re proud to continue serving one of the great American companies.
