Our Blog
Hello from your friends at True North Outdoor!
We trust all is well with you and yours in this Holiday Season, and we hope you’ve found ways to slow down and enjoy the seasons with loved ones.
We have done a bit of reflection ourselves on what we wanted to share with you and will be using this space monthly to share more about YOU. Our story would be rather boring and empty without you, our customers, clients and friends, who spur us on and make our work wonderful.
You see, we believe that WHO WE ARE is so much more important than WHAT WE DO.
We imagine you feel the same way about your business. All the best come to this realization eventually. It’s the stories that weave through the work we are committed to that shape who we are and who we become.
So, who are WE, anyways?
Did you know a compass does not always point to actual, real North?
It points to the direction of the Magnetic North Pole, but not always to the Geographic North Pole.
The difference between those two is magnetic inclination… It can change so much that the Earth’s magnetic field can flip polarity. Why does this matter?
Because, it’s where we got the inspiration for our name, and it’s very central to who we are as a business.
We set out for TRUE North.
We set out to stay true to our beliefs about who we wanted to be and how we wanted to serve clients, regardless of what was popular or “standard” at any given moment in time. How we have done that has often been through out of the box solutions born out of our customers’ needs and our commitment to excellence. So while we haven’t always gone with the flow, you can trust we’ve always had the ship pointed to true North. And when we veer away from what everyone else is doing, there’s been good reason. We’re staying on course.
What is YOUR story?
As a mission critical property, you understand, there’s always a price to create something wonderful. There’s the challenge, and because it’s hard, there is joy when you WIN.
We’re not after Disney World, here. But we are after something meaningful, something that is more than the sum of the parts. The sense of accomplishment you have when you’re embarked on something that requires sacrifice. Who you are is integral to who we are.
What motivates us is not simply the good work we are doing on your property, but hearing how who we are is impacting our clients, their properties, their jobs and their lives, for the better.
Would you share your story with us?
